The pronunciation of s らか ky is Shigaraki. ‘sㅣ’ is written in the alphabet ‘s’ and Korean vowel ‘ㅣ’.

When you type the word slime in English with Korean keyboard, the L button is in the same position as the Korean vowel ㅣ. Also, you get confused the lowercase letters of the English letter L(l) and the Korean vowel ㅣ often. So I put it in a witty way.

In addition, らか is pronounced as "Gara" in Japanese, it has many meanings and one of them means empty. In Korea, it is often used to mean something has been done roughly, fake or empty. The last ‘ky’ is the last 2 letters of Sleeky.

So, s ㅣから ky is the name of an artwork which has been made as a combination of words. ‘S’ from slime, ㅣ from Korea vow, から from Japanese word and ‘ky’ from Sleeky.

I made the name of this artwork with Korean, Japanese and English as I’m Korean who not only inspired by Mikey Mouse which is American character but also Japanese animation character Shiragaki Tomura.

-----------------------------

s ㅣから ky has been inspired by villain named Shiragaki Tomura from animation ‘My here academia’.

In the animation, "Shigaraki Tomura" has a unique figure with other people's hands attached around his own body, later, it was revealed that these hands were his families who he murdered.

The hands attached to the s ㅣから ky are the remaining hands of Mickey Mouse that slime has killed and eaten.

The remaining hands could not bear to see their own kind being killed. So even they only had their hands left, They moved with a strong will to holding slime back from eating other Mickey Mouse and transforming into Sleeky from slime.

-----------------------------

There is other meaning for s ㅣから ky.

The meaning of s ㅣから ky is same as above in the Sleeky world but different in the real world.

The hands holding onto the s ㅣから ky expressed the hands of my family who supported me.

I wanted to express my family's support for holding me strong, giving hands for good works, and holding my legs so that I don't go to bad places but grow as a good artist.

So I wanted to make it as an expression of the hands attached to s ㅣから ky is to stop something or to hold it to prevent it from falling, rather than to hold it tight.

Thank you for watching!
